About The Koa Club

An exclusive community for achieving women. No apologies for wanting to be the best, to get inspired, to expand our horizons, be fired up about what we love and to let your hair down for a good time.

We appreciate the challenges of expanding our social circles.

Sometimes it is because we are new to an area and do not know who we can socialize with. Sometimes it is because we are so busy with work, family and life that we have too little time. Sometimes we try to socialize with others and find ourselves having little in common to talk about. So we are here to help make it easy for you.

Quality time with like-minded individuals powerfully influences our perspective and attitude, invigorates us to attain our goals and empowers us towards growth.

We have curated fun workshops and events where you can comfortably meet other like-minded women while learning something useful. We create a safe inner circle for our members to connect with one another to become friends, to inspire each other, to deepen the desire and motivation to learn and grow, to explore potential leadership, career or other opportunities, and where you can share your dreams and aspirations.

We challenge you to strive to do more and grow more because you can, and you should.

While social opportunities are everywhere, not all of them are worth our limited time. We wholeheartedly believe that we should use the time we have to learn something useful and interesting while we socialize.

Why spend precious time searching for places to learn many of life’s leadership, professional and other practical skills when you can join The Koa Club and let us do all the hard work in bringing these interesting learning opportunities to you?

We have created a wide range of workshops and events under various “Series” topics so you can pick workshops and events that appeal to your sense of curiosity, that satisfy your desire to acquire or deepen your knowledge in certain subjects, and that support your willingness to bond with women who have similar interests.

Learn how to be an effective leader at work, build great communication skills, be an endurance athlete, put snow chains on your tires, be a better photographer, make scrumptious sushi, create awesome cocktails, have a more satisfying relationship with your significant others, and the list goes on.

One of our key goals is to empower our members to build meaningful, long-lasting relationships with other women achievers. We believe each of our members bring something unique to this community, yet we share one thing in common – our passion and drive to do our best in whatever we set our minds to achieve. We believe that by connecting and learning from each other, it will help us to expand our horizons and grow our capabilities.  Building positive relationships can often be a key to attaining success in our careers and other life pursuits. Achieving success is never a solo effort. We also often forget that the first step in building a great relationship is finding something you have in common with someone else. Our events encourage our members to bond over subjects that they are passionate about and to build rapport. We strive to be one of your crucial building blocks for growth and success.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

Meet Our Founder

Susan Seah

Susan’s mantra of living life boldly goes beyond her professional life. Despite not knowing how to ride a bicycle and having panic attacks whenever in deep water, she was determined to be a triathlete and completed (with lots of tears from extreme exertion, joy and amazement) the Western Australia Ironman race within a year of picking up the sport. Susan doesn’t consider herself an extraordinary athlete but has a deep belief that if one is passionate enough about conquering a new challenge, it is always possible with a positive attitude, perseverance, confidence in one’s own abilities and the willingness and desire to learn something new.
