Women’s Clothing Swap Party – With Stylist Insights

Description

Create space in your closet and get new items for your wardrobe without spending lots of money by coming to our first in-person women’s only clothing swap event.  You will find new worthy treasures for your wardrobe and swap unneeded items. What more – free drinks, food, and you’ll get to meet other members of The Koa Club and their female guests.

SHARE your fabulous UNNEEDED clothes with people who for sure will appreciate them! FIND SPECIAL pieces in someone´s offerings that FIT your style!

GUIDELINES
1.  If you are attending this event, please bring some clothing items to swap with others.
2.  Women’s casual, business, formal, fitness and outdoors clothing, seasonal accessories, lightly worn shoes, hats, handbags, scarves, and jewelery are welcomed. No lingerie, swimwear, men’s or children’s clothing. And no stained or torn items please.
2.  You can choose for yourself as many items as you want to take home but please be respectful of other shoppers and take only items that you are actually going to wear.
3.  Only bring items that are of consignment quality, and you would be proud to pass on to others.
4.  All leftover clothing will be donated to Jubilee Women’s Center, a Seattle non-profit that “supports women experiencing poverty to build stable and fulfilling futures one extraordinary woman at a time.”
We are especially excited that we will be featuring the fabulous Mellicia Marx, founder of Poplin Style Direction, a much sought-after boutique personal styling consultancy in Seattle, Washington, at this event.
Since 2013, Mellicia has helped hundreds of women look and feel their best through personalized, one-on-one style mentoring. By using a client’s authentic personal style, body type and values, Poplin provides accessible web-based tools to help her command her style easily, taking the stress out of getting dressed every day. Her long-running blog, bi-monthly email newsletter and in-person style workshops for unhoused youth have guided countless more individuals as they navigate real-life style challenges.
