Women Entrepreneurs Huddle: Managing Difficult Employees
March 15 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm PDT
Susan Seah, CEO & Founder of The Koa Club and special featured guests
This is part of the 2023 series of Bi-monthly Women Entrepreneurs Huddle meetings. The objectives of these Huddle meetings are to have members of The Koa Club who are founders and entrepreneurs meet to discuss challenges they may be facing, share insights and guidance from knowledge and experiences gained along the way through their endeavors, and generally provide a supportive forum for one another.
This month’s topic: Managing Difficult Employees
It’s an almost inevitable part of the manager’s professional landscape: there’s generally that one (or more) employee who doesn’t perform well, is difficult to deal with, or has a hard time getting along with others, or means well but just doesn’t ever quite do what’s expected. And the unfortunate thing is, most managers spend a large amount of time, thought or emotional energy on them.
Managers help their employees achieve goals, provide assistance, and sometimes direct conflict resolution. The best managers know how to handle difficult employees and promote a peaceful working environment that establishes trust. When conflicts arise in the workplace, it’s important to know how to manage a difficult employee and what to avoid.
We will invite special guests to attend who can provide valuable insights, information or resources to the Huddle.
