This is part of our 2024 monthly series called The Good Selfish.

This month we will be talking about The Art of Knowing When to Walk Away

Winners quit all the time! Sometimes, walking away is the smartest choice, but with all the messages we get—from family, school, work, and online—that tell us to keep going no matter what, giving up on a previous goal can be really tough.

In today’s session, the next part of our “The Good Selfish” series, we will discuss the challenges women in particular face in recognizing when to step back from professional or private commitments that no longer serve their best interests. We’ll discuss how to distinguish between quitting and making a strategic decision to walk away and explore what keeps us from doing just that even when we know it’s the right thing to do.

This session is an invitation to prioritize your needs and wants, enabling you to serve others more effectively by taking care of yourself. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how walking away can sometimes be the most powerful step forward.
