Bold Leaders in Human Resources

We invite Seattle Human Resources professionals to meet in person once a quarter for a happy hour somewhere in town to encourage the sharing of innovative best practices, and creating a supportive community that enhances professional development. Our goal for the meetup is to be the place where collaboration thrives, where relationships are forged, and where the collective expertise of HR professionals is celebrated.  We will have different topics at each quarterly huddle gathering.

We welcome all HR professionals in the greater Seattle area to join us in this informal panel discussion and networking group get together. You do not have to be a member of The Koa Club to join us for this event.

Topic for July Event: Unique Employee Engagement and Retention Strategies

Join us from 5:30 – 7:30 pm as we share some creative and unique strategies for keeping employee engagement high and employees retained. We will have a panel of amazing speakers specializing in all areas of HR such as Employee Benefits, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations and Learning and Development. More information on specific panel speakers will be shared closer to the date of the event. We hope to see you there!

Karina (Guadiz) Mounivong has over 15 years of experience in Human Resources. Karina is currently the Vice President, HR for Lumen Bioscience. Lumen is clinical-stage, fully integrated biopharmaceutical company that engineers spirulina – a photosynthetic, edible algae – for manufacturing and delivering biologic drugs. Prior to joining Lumen, Karina was the VP, Global HR for Nintex, a software company that specializes in process management and automation workflow. While at Nintex, Karina was a part of scaling the company through organic and inorganic growth, completed five acquisitions and integrations in her time there and was part of building a great company culture.
