Description

So, you know you have a pretty impressive resume and if you could just get hired based on your resume alone, you would be golden. But, no, you have to also ace the interview, which for some of you, can be quite daunting, especially if you have no clue how to explain why you are looking to leave your current employment, why you left the workforce for years and are now trying to restart your career, why you were laid off at your last job, etc.  Job interviews are tough for most people, but interviews are your opportunity to promote your skills and abilities.  Interviews also give you a chance to find out if the job and company are right for you.

There is no doubt that the more you care about getting the specific position, the more you’re likely to worry about the interview and how you can effectively impress your interviewers, thereby raising your stress levels and jitters.

Our panelists will share their insights and recommendations for interviewing at your best that can help you build your confidence,  feel less nervous about answering questions and to build rapport with the people you engage with at the interview process. They will discuss steps you can take to make the experience a little easier and increase your chances of having a successful job interview.
