Description
We all know the importance of networking and building meaningful relationships with potential allies, sponsors, mentors, and peers who can help open doors for us to opportunities and whom we can share ideas, skills and expertise. We often mistakenly associate the act of networking with just attending planned in-person networking events in order to meet other professional peers. If you are one of the people who thought that, you would likely have thought that your networking days are entirely over when the COVID 19 pandemic hit us in 2020, causing countries and cities across the world to enter into lockdowns and where we were all told to practice safe social distancing from others.
Fortunately, successful networking can happen without the in-person meet and greet sessions. The true journey of networking and building meaningful relationships with others involve getting to know people, having authentic conversations and instead of focusing on what the other person can do for you, but rather what value can you bring to this connection with the other persons.
Our panelists will share their thoughts on how we can navigate making professional connections in this new normal. In fact, if you have not done so yet, now is a great time to grow your network, given people’s flexibility in their remote working schedules for brief meetups over Zoom or other similar platform without cutting into their limited availability with any commuting time, and their likely desire to connect with others after an entire year of not engaging in social activities. Our panelists will also provide tips on how to properly nurture your existing and growing network.

Introvert-friendly networking
As an introvert, Brad never excelled at “working the room.” Starting and stopping new conversations was always awkward and he would typically make few, if any, new connections.
Not a great ROI.
When the pandemic hit, he asked himself, “why does networking need to be in-person and how can it be more natural for introverts?”
That’s when he launched introvert-friendly networking – an inclusive space where business owners can build trusting relationships and be their authentic selves (extroverts welcome too).
Oh, and best of all, the technology does the “working the room” for you!
Sign-up now to be a guest at the next monthly session of introvert-friendly networking exclusively for business owners.
