About the Speaker
Mellicia is the founder of Poplin Style Direction, a comprehensive personal styling service catering to women who want to look and feel their best, so they can go out there and be their best. Mellicia’s style cultivation process empowers and educates clients to discover the style that is already innately their own, helping hundreds of clients discover a confidence and presence they never knew they possessed. As a mom who has worked in the public, private and nonprofit sectors, Mellicia has real world experience dressing for nearly any situation. In 2013, Mellicia drew on her years of non-profit fundraising experience to partner with Youthcare, founding an ongoing series of styling workshops that help at-risk youth graduating from their Barista Training Program look their very best for job interviews.
