Description

If you are afraid of public speaking, you are certainly not alone. More people fear public speaking than death, spiders, or heights and in fact, the National Institute of Mental Health’s data show that public speaking anxiety, also known as glossophobia, affects about 73% of the population.  Many of us have experienced some sort of anxiety or fear when we have to speak in public but a person with glossophobia is unable to control their nerves and may encounter uncontrollable trembling, sweating, and a racing heartbeat, whether the audience is large or small. This may hinder the ability to communicate effectively in order to express ideas and thoughts, and affect one’s ability to pursue opportunities where public speaking may be required.

Due to popular demand, we have invited back Andrew McMasters, a communications expert, to share his best tips and mindset on how you we can become a better public speaker.  Andrew’s fun and interactive method of overcoming public speaking is not to be missed!
