Our Featured Panelists Spotlight will be held on a Wednesday of each month. During the Featured Panelists Spotlight, we invite guest panelists to share their experiences, insights, tips and strategies that they have found to be effective in their professional or personal lives when tackling the featured topic for the month.

Hybrid Leadership- Leading Remote and Onsite Teams

Modern organizations haven’t had a fully in-person or fully remote workforce in a while. Some employees sit in their cubicle every day while others are distributed across the country—or even the world. And plenty of employees work in the office on some days and remotely on others. This mix of virtual and in-person workforces has given rise to the hybrid workplace.An all-or-nothing approach to a virtual workplace will always negatively affect some employees. Hybrid models increase employee satisfaction and wellness by making both environments an option, so employees can work in the ways that are ideal for them.A simple and common mistake leaders often make is operating as though nothing has changed. The best leaders are always intentional in their words and actions and the challenges of leading a hybrid team makes that intentionality even more important. How do you want the team to function? What can you do to purposefully foster and build relationships, be even more clear and intentional in your communication, and ensure everyone stays connected to purpose, mission, and desired results?
