Description

What is the Featured Panelists Spotlight?

Our Featured Panelists Spotlight will be held every first Wednesday of each month. During the Featured Panelists Spotlight, we invite guest panelists to share their experiences, insights, tips and strategies that they have found to be effective in their professional or personal lives when tackling the featured topic for the month.

May Featured Topic –  The Art of Persuasive Storytelling

Storytelling can be an essential tool for many reasons – it can be used to make yourself or your brand more relatable to the audience, to help close a deal, to help people to understand your point of view or even to impress others with your experience.  Storytelling is about conveying key information in a way that helps others to remember that information and to convince them of what needs to be done.

The art of persuasive storytelling is a communication tactic to make the information you are trying to convey more appealing to your audience on an emotional level, with the goal of connecting to what the audience values.

Our panelists will discuss insights on how you can be an effective storyteller that will get and keep your audience’s attention, iterate your vision and values, enhance your credibility, and help others to understand and remember your message. They will also discuss ways to avoid storytelling that can backfire on us.

We are all born storytellers but like any skill, the art of storytelling will only improve with practice. Become a better and more persuasive storyteller with these tips from our panelists.
