January Featured Topic – Building Wellness and Mindfulness Habits for Busy Professionals

It should be of no surprise to know that in order to prevent burnout from the high demands of our jobs, we will need  to put a high priority on caring for our physical, mental, and emotional well-being.  We want to attain joy, success and fulfilment from our personal and professional lives, but sacrificing our wellness because we are too busy with our careers, family or anything else sets us up for stress, potential health-related problems and eventual unhappiness and dissatisfaction with ourselves and our lives.

If you are a busy professional, it is likely that you may have encountered some, or even all, of these issues below at some point in your life:

  • Giving up on physical activities
  • Having hectic schedules
  • Encountering stress and anxiety from work
  • Sitting for long hours hunched over your computer
  • Standing for a long period of time on your feet

Do you wish you can find calm in your life, especially in the face of our hectic lifestyles? Do you wish you can find simple ways to ease stress, soothe anxiety and be more present in life?

Developing an ideal wellness and mindfulness routine generally involves forming healthy habits that aligns with a schedule that best benefits our goals and our lives. Our featured speakers, who themselves are busy professionals, have managed to developed wellness and mindfulness practices that have helped them tremendously. They will be sharing their tips and strategies on how to build the right habits to strengthen wellness, mindfulness and resiliency.
