Susan Seah, CEO & Founder of The Koa Club and special featured guests

Description

Once a month on a Friday, The Koa Club will host an online Huddle focused on women supporting other women in their professional and personal endeavors.

Join us in fellowship with other professional women to foster community, empower each other and provide ongoing collaborative opportunities, which we believe to be crucially important, especially during these particularly challenging times. We want to build a culture where women can get inspired, support, learn, share resources and information, and have a safe place to ask questions and be vulnerable, authentic and open.

Each month will focus on a different topic. For August, we wanted to tackle the topic of: Overcoming a Mid-career Crisis

The reasons for the “mid-career crisis” are not well understood. Why does job satisfaction suffer during midlife?

The gravity of this issue is underlined by the idea that a person’s age is associated with a continuously growing motivation to get meaning from life, of which your career is a significant part. Very often, the most straightforward and minute tasks will feel abnormally exhausting and result in burnout. If all of this sounds “oh, so familiar,” chances are you’re going through a mid-career crisis.

Experiencing a mid-career crisis is normal, and it definitely doesn’t mean the end of your career’s progress or a lifetime of remaining stagnant.

Featured Guest

Lisa Kerwin is a public speaker, Financial Advisor, and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) who is dedicated to helping professional women break out of the status quo and live their first-class life. She empowers women to create “unreasonable” financial success and to make an even bigger impact in the world. Lisa simplifies her transformative “first-class-life” process into easy steps so women feel confident, make smart choices with their money and incremental shifts that lead to big change.
