Bold Leaders in Human Resources

We invite Seattle Human Resources professionals to meet in person once a quarter for a happy hour somewhere in town to encourage the sharing of innovative best practices, and creating a supportive community that enhances professional development. Our goal for the meetup is to be the place where collaboration thrives, where relationships are forged, and where the collective expertise of HR professionals is celebrated.  We will have different topics at each quarterly huddle gathering.

We welcome all HR professionals in the greater Seattle area to join us in this informal panel discussion and networking group get together. You do not have to be a member of The Koa Club to join us for this event.

Topic for June event: Employee Engagement Best Practices During Turbulent Times

In the turbulent seas of layoffs, restructuring, or economic downturns, HR’s resilience and understanding are essential to keep the organization steady through the storm. So, as the heart of a company, you have a unique responsibility to navigate these crises with compassion and strength.

During these times, the safety and well-being of employees should be HR’s top priority. The role of HR is not just about policies and procedures; it’s about safeguarding an organization’s most valuable asset: its people. Organizations that recognize the significance of HR in tough times will emerge from these challenging situations stronger and more resilient.

Our panelists will share their insights on this topic and we encourage interactive discussions with all participants.
