Since the onset of COVID-19, traveling to far away places and trying the cuisine sounds like a dream to some of us. In 2024, we will be holding a monthly international dinner for a small group of members located in Seattle to get to meet other members in person, and try food from around the world. Join us for a relaxed, no-pressure, fun atmosphere to build connections and discuss important topics. The Koa Club’s Around the World Dinners will be limited to 10 women only, so the first 10 women to RSVP will be able to attend. We will be meeting at various locations in Seattle each time. Each guest is expected to pay for their own meals and drinks. Let’s try some Indian food!
What Does New Success Look Like to You?
How is success viewed in your eyes? Is it a job title? A fancy car and a nice place to live? Is it finally getting that titled role? It’s going to be challenging to answer this question if you’ve never considered what success means to you. For some people, success represents money while for others, success means happiness. And while your personal definition of success will vary, a simple way to reframe this question is by considering a desirable outcome. This outcome could be related to a work project, goal, task, etc. No one can define success for you, it is something you must do yourself because only then will it be meaningful. It is important to discover your values and compare yourself only to yourself when defining what success means to you. Your source of inspiration should drive your goals while making an impact and at that time, you will feel successful.
