Since the onset of COVID-19, traveling to far away places and trying the cuisine sounds like a dream to some of us. In 2024, we will be holding a monthly international dinner for a small group of members located in Seattle to get to meet other members in person, and try food from around the world. Join us for a relaxed, no-pressure, fun atmosphere to build connections and discuss important topics. The Koa Club’s Around the World Dinners will be limited to 10 women only, so the first 10 women to RSVP will be able to attend. We will be meeting at various locations in Seattle each time. Each guest is expected to pay for their own meals and drinks. Let’s try some Cuban food!
Redefining Your Professional Style
After two years of hastily throwing a business jacket over a T-shirt and sweatpants while on camera, our tolerance for conformity has changed. The business dress code is evolving. Have you been rethinking your work attire as you transition back into the office, but you’re worried about what others will think? Now, it’s time for you to set your own dress code. A change in mindset will help bring about your authentic self to the office. It’s becoming more widely accepted to allow your attire to be an expression of who you are, as opposed to a formal environment to which you need to mold yourself. Authenticity sends a powerful message, and what we are seeing post-pandemic is that comfort does as well.
