Since the onset of COVID-19, traveling to far away places and trying the cuisine sounds like a dream to some of us. In 2024, we will be holding a monthly international dinner for a small group of members located in Seattle to get to meet other members in person, and try food from around the world. Join us for a relaxed, no-pressure, fun atmosphere to build connections and discuss important topics. The Koa Club’s Around the World Dinners will be limited to 10 women only, so the first 10 women to RSVP will be able to attend. We will be meeting at various locations in Seattle each time. Each guest is expected to pay for their own meals and drinks. Let’s try some French food!
Overcoming Being a Chronic People Pleaser
Are you too accommodating in your daily life—so much so that it’s actually a hindrance to your work? Well, you might be a people pleaser. While it’s a great set of skills to be able to work with others, being too much of a people pleaser can actually set you back. It diminishes your work, undermines your authority, and—eventually—stunts your professional growth. That’s not all, either. When you become entrenched in people-pleasing, it can take a toll on your mental health. We will use this intimate dinner to dive into how to overcome being a chronic people pleaser and transform into balancing your happiness with others.
