Radical Well-Being
On February 26, 2020, Annie Fitzgerald, founder of Annie Fitzgerald Coaching provided her thoughtful insights during her talk for The Koa Club on “Radical Well-Being”, reminding us to take proactive actions that are important for our self-care and not just temporary self-soothing. She shared her own heartfelt story on how self-care became such an important part of her life and inspired us to find the right self-care path for ourselves.
Overcoming The Imposter Syndrome
On February 5, 2020, the Koa Club collaborated with the women from AWS to host a highly coveted event on “Overcoming the Imposter Syndrome” with the very brilliant, Micha Goebig, founder of Go Big Coaching. We learnt that this is a syndrome that affects many of us and especially people who are hard-working, well-educated and successful. Micha was able to successfully provide us with authentic guidance on how we can change our thoughts about feeling like an imposter and learn to take on a more realistic and positive view on our lives, careers and accomplishments.
Emerge 2020
On January 28, 2020, Christine Arylo, feminine leadership advisor and consultant and three-time best selling author and speaker, worked with members of The Koa Club and LWT on a visioning and intention setting workshop to help start our year the right way by taking a “Power Pause”. This workshop helped us to use our feminine power of focus to illuminate a clear path ahead. We all left feel really inspired to be successful in our mindfulness mindset for 2020.
Public Speaking Mastery
On January 8, 2020, the incredibly dynamic Andrew McMasters, founder of Improv Mindset, showed us how public speaking can be done painlessly and effectively. Through interactive improv exercises and lots of laughs, we learned a great deal about being comfortable with improving our public speaking skills and the effective ways to engage the audience.
