FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
FOUNDER OF THE KOA CLUB FEATURED AS A DARING WOMAN BY SEATTLE BUSINESS MAGAZINE
SEATTLE (December 16, 2019) –The Koa Club is thrilled to announce that its founder, Susan Seah, was just featured as one of the “Daring Women” in the Seattle Business magazine. According to the Seattle Business Magazine, a Daring Women profile involves “an interview of a woman leader in Washington who is a trailblazer in her profession or industry”.
In September 2019, Seah founded The Koa Club, a membership social club exclusively for women achievers who are passionate about lifelong learning and ongoing growth to help achieve further success in their professional and personal lives. This passion project for Seah came to her after having successfully launched the Seattle chapter of LWT (formerly Leading Women in Technology), a non-profit organization focused on advancing leadership skills in women, in 2016. In less than five years, she had successfully developed the presence of LWT in Seattle and has helped many women complete LWT’s signature leadership program to become effective movers and shakers in their careers, and along the way, gained the support of some of the world’s largest companies as sponsors for LWT.
“I am truly honored and humbled to be highlighted as one of this year’s Daring Women by Seattle Business Magazine,” Seah said. “I have spent the last several years passionately working on ways to positively impact the lives of other women by helping them grow in their leadership skills and to build their sense of empowerment generally. Having those efforts recognized alongside some of Washington State’s most daring women in different industries and professions is truly an honor”.
